Program Summary
Day 1: Park check-in .pick up from the airport at 5 am to Akagera National Park.
Journey time: 2hrs: 30 minutes

Day 2: Full Game Drive /Safari.
Full game drive from the southern part of the park to the Northern part which takes about 6 hours to 7 to drive within the park.

Our driver will pick you up at 5 am from the airport for your next trip to Akagera national park. After Park registration we will head to start your 2 Days Akagera National Park Safari with a short game drive You will immerse yourself in Rwanda’s savannah safari park in search of Masai giraffe, elephants, lions, waterbuck, bushbuck, and reedbuck providing contrasting memories and watch over as large herds of impala, Zebras and topi skip by. Then later proceed for a sunset boat ride on Lake Ihema in search for water lovers like Nile crocodiles and Hippos, you will sail along the water edge which is covered with several trees, drift past numerous giant hippos and see several crocodiles some in the shallows of the water and another basking on the shore. After a cup of the finest Rwandan coffee/tea at 7 am, you will head for the full game drive from the southern part of the park to the Northern part which takes about 6 hours to 7 to drive within the park. The full-day game drive offers you more opportunities to spot a variety of wild animals that you might have missed yesterday such as elephants, buffalos, lions, Masai giraffe, gazelles, impala, baboons, oribi, Butchel’s zebra, topi, bush baby, leopard and bushbuck coupled with a large concentration of birdlife; over 525 species identified and later a drive back to Kigali around 5 to 6 pm.
